TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF

I’m Beth, I’m 20 and I live in the Midlands.

After I left college I worked in a busy office which was fun for 2 years until the lockdown forced me to have to do my job from home, which I did and had time to spare. This made me realise just how much time I was wasting travelling to the job and the waste of petrol. So, I started to look into other ways to make money online, while I was “at work”. I also wanted to do something for myself which gave me the ability to travel.

.HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT MATCHED BETTING AND WHAT DID YOU THINK?

I can remember first hearing a friend of my ex boyfriend talking about it a couple of years ago, and although he was doing well it seemed confusing. After a search online, I saw there was a lot of blogs saying positive things about it..and as I work in an office I thought I should be able to figure it out..

Anything between 15 minutes and about an hour for matched betting most days, depending on the day’s matches and offers. In general I’ll normally spend about six hours matched betting each week. But if I’m busy – especially at the weekends – it’s not unusual for me to spend a maximum of three to four hours matched betting each week. Or none if I feel like it!

WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THE MONEY YOU’RE MAKING MATCHED BETTING?

I treated myself to a new laptop and have had several nights out with some of the profit, but I use most profit on more offers! When I have hit £10000 I am going to take it out to go travelling. Matched betting will allow me to do this, and keep on earning while I travel, if I want!

ANY ADVICE FOR PEOPLE THINKING ABOUT STARTING MATCHED BETTING?

Go slow, do some research about what matched betting is first of all. Read about it and ask on Facebook Groups like Earn Free Cash UK. Matched betting isn’t for everyone so think about whether it might suit you.

My summary of matched betting is that it works, it doesn’t really matter if you don’t like sports or know about them, but enjoying them certainly makes it even more fun!

Doing background reading helps you learn. It seems confusing at first but once you see how it works, it becomes much easier!

Other than this, though, don’t delay! For 2 years I was really nervous and kept putting it off but I wish I’d started matched betting earlier than I did. I would be travelling in Indonesia already!
